Ardi Batmanghelidj, President of Innovatum and Eric Pizzuti, Vice President and General Manager of QuickLabel Systems recently conducted a presentation called, “Achieving Compliance Agility With A Color Enabled Off The Shelf Label Management System” during the 2013 Medical Device Global Labeling Strategies Conference held in Minneapolis. The joint presentation explained the way that Innovatum’s ROBAR Enterprise Label Management System and QuickLabel’s Kiaro! inkjet label printer combine to form a complete and efficient FDA-compliant color label printing solution.
During his part of the presentation, Mr. Batmanghelidj delved into the topics of: centralized & secure enterprise management control over labels & content, adapting through configuration rather than programming, design here – print anywhere, and the final step- reporting UDI attributes to the GUDID. The overall message being that Innovatum’s ROBAR optimizes a UDI compliant label management and printing process while referencing a single source of truth for labeling.
Mr. Pizzuti explored the topics of: control over labels and content, short-run label printing, printing color labels in 1200 DPI, and printer compatibility. It is clear that QuickLabel’s Kiaro! enables the efficient printing of high resolution color labels on blank stock.
